First Law fantasy author Joe Abercrombie launches his new novel Red Country this month and you can see him on 26 October
Bath-based author Joe Abercrombie is one of the finest fantasy writers around and with Red Country , he returns to the world established in his First Law series. In this stand-alone story, though, he draws on the traditions of cowboy adventures to create a fantasy-Western hybrid. Hey look, here’s a trailer:

On Friday 26 October he’ll be speaking at the Topping & Company Booksellers in Bath (BA1 5LS). Doors will open at 7.45 pm for 8pm start.We’ll be there, so why don’t you come along and join us?
