New Infinity Blade II trailer explains how an iPad game can look so good

When Apple revealed its new iPhone, it already had a possible killer app prepared in the form of Infinity Blade II (opens in new tab), the sequel to the iOS megahit from Epic Games and Chair. The sequel looks to improve on everything from the first game, and that includes the first rate visuals. The developers put together a short video to show just how far they’ve taken Apple’s device.

Looking at those first shots, it’s easy to believe those guys when they say they are taking the hardware as far as it can go. Seeing Unreal 3 on iOS was impressive enough in the first Infinity Blade, now that the devs are more familiar with it, we’re very impressed with what the devs are squeezing out of it here. Infinity Blade II is scheduled for release December 1.
