According to Showbiz Spy (uh, yeah), the Crank star is poised for the lead in Transformers 4 , and will take the robo-series into a “darker” direction.
Whether that means the introduction of the actor’s favourite four letter expletives and new catchphrase “I’m going to nut me a decepticon!” remains to be seen.
Yes, this is all to be taken with a huge helping of salt – and no doubt a rumour cranked out thanks to the fact that Statham is currently dating T3 babe Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
