Four Days Inside Guantanamo review

Secretly recorded footage from a Guantanamo Bay interrogation of 16-year-old Canadian citizen Omar Khadr forms the core of this compelling doc.

The split-screen format juxtaposes the grilling with analysis from psychiatrists, lawyers, fellow prisoners and an ex-interrogator.

Like Taxi To The Dark Side, this uses an individual case – the suspect allegedly killed a US medic in Afghanistan – to lay bare “tactics” used in the War On Terror.

“If you lie, they want more lies,” says an ex-inmate. “If you tell the truth, they don’t want to hear it.”
