Our friends at PC Gamer are throwing a great big celebration in London next month, and you can get in on the cheap (opens in new tab). One-day tickets to the PC Gamer Weekender (opens in new tab) are now £9.99, granting you admission to two floors full of pre-release games like Dark Souls 3, tournaments, and new gaming hardware to try and buy.
The PC Gamer Weekender runs Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. If you can make it to the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane for both days, you may want to pick up a £24 Weekender+ pass. On top of two-day admission, a Weekender+ pass entitles you to 30-minute early access to the gaming floor and an entry into a prize draw for the super-fancy GT Omega Racing Chair – not to mention a digital subscription to PC Gamer, which is worth £28 on its own. All visitors also get a free download of indie platforming phenom Dustforce.
Aside from Dark Souls 3, games on hand (opens in new tab) will include Street Fighter 5 (opens in new tab), Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, Total War: Warhammer, and Umbrella Corps, that Resident Evil online shooter. All of the qualifying tournaments, including Rocket League and League of Legends, will be open-admissions for ticket holders and culminate in a final showdown on the Tournament stage.
If you need to catch your breath between games, you can check out workshops to learn more about building and modifying your PC, tour the Hardware Zone for equipment advice and on-site sales, and watch presentations and interviews with studios like Firaxis and Paradox on the PC Gamer stage. Grab your tickets today (opens in new tab).
