Brought to you by D3 Publisher and developed by WayForward Technologies comes the first ever video game iteration of the hit tv show Adventure Time. Dubbed, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King Why’d You Steal Our Garbage!? the game will allow players to control both Finn and Jake in an action/adventure game as they try to figure out, well, why the ice king stole their garbage.
“The rich and diverse characters in the Adventure Time world are absolutely perfect for a video game franchise and working with D3Publisher,WayForward and Pendelton Ward, we have a great team in place to bring it to life,” said Pete Yoder of Cartoon Network. “This game will provide the Land of Ooo experience that young fans will love.”
Adventure Time is currently set for Fall 2012. According to the press release, Adventure Time is the number one show for kids aged 6-11 on Mondays, and has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program.
Finally, a game that can dethrone “Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman, What Did I Do To Deserve This?” in the category of most ridiculous non-sense title.
